The JR Tucker PTSO needs your help! There are currently a variety of openings to be filled; no matter what your schedule is like, there’s a spot for you. Under Party All Night, there is also a need for items to be donated. Please see below for details:

PTSO Tiger Shack 

We have an urgent need for adult volunteers to volunteer 45 minutes at the end of the school day to help sell $1 drinks and $1-2 snacks to our students. No experience is necessary to contribute, and any new volunteers would be trained by an experienced volunteer. A sign up will be sent out soon, but if you are interested in the meantime, please email waysandmeans@jrtuckerptso.com.  

Office Help

Mrs. Shabbir is hoping to create a space for students fasting during the month of March for Ramadan and is requesting volunteers to serve with staff or another experienced volunteers in the office while she supervises students during lunch in the library. PTSO Craftsmen’s Spring Classic-March 14, 15 & 16 

Support our PTSO by volunteering at the Craftsmen’s Spring Classic at the Richmond Raceway Complex on March 14, 15, and/or 16.  Responsibilities for adults and students will include welcoming guests, handing out gift certificate slips at the entrance, stamping hands so guests can return and booth sitting for vendors so they can take breaks. All volunteers receive free admission to the event for the entire weekend! PTSO Presents Party All Night!

Prom is right around the corner, and we hope your juniors and seniors will take advantage of this free event at SkateNation on Saturday, April 26 from 10 pm – 1 am. Please consider helping to donate food, drinks, chips or gift cards for door prizes. We also need parent volunteers to check in students and help with setup and cleanup. The PTSO will have several parent leaders graduating this spring, and we are looking to fill positions including Secretary, VP-Ways & Means, Tiger Shack (afternoon school store), Tiger Den (spirit wear), Legislation, and Party All Night.
